Events

An Open House will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 1:00-4:00pm at the Bohemian National Cemetery to celebrate the anniversary and revival of the Grand Lodge of the CSPS. Members and guests will enjoy a historic tour of the cemetery followed by refreshments. Historic information will be on display, and we encourage you and your family to bring any old photos, documents, records, and information you would like to share with the lodge and add to our records.

The lodge is preparing to have a sale table set up to raise money for restoration expenses. Donations are greatly appreciated. For information about contributing food or assistance for the event, please contact Louise Taborsky at 410-825-1161. We hope to see you there!

Memorial Day Events

Each year, the Bohemian National Cemetery holds a Memorial Day Celebration. A service, given by Michael Rokos, is held at the cemetery at 11:00 am. Participants include officials from the Czech Embassy in Washington, DC, the Czech and Slovak Heritage Singers and members from the United States Armed Forces. Flags are placed at the grave sites of deceased military personnel.
